Overview:

Jiulong is a special place within western Sichuan. When most people think of western Sichuan they think of high mountains and vast grasslands. Jiulong however is mixed with mountains, valleys, rivers, and one of the most diverse makeups within all of Sichuan province within the confines of its county lines. Visit the otherworldly Wuxuhai, or the Wildman Temple which has imprints of a hand from the unknown wildman that supposedly set the foundations for the temple hundreds of years ago, or enjoy a hike from the town square that overlooks the Yajiang River which runs through the county seed. And if you catch the Ethnic Square on a good weathered night join in on dancing with different Tibetan minorities, Yi, and Han all dancing and spending time having fun together in the central square. If you are a true adventurer ride over high mountains down into the valleys of nearby Sanyanlong or Bawolng villages. Once in Sanyanlong if lucky catch a motorcycle ride up to Changhaizi Lake where you can camp if you dare to make the journey to this gorgeous local scenic lake.
